Musician, Audio Production, and Video Production

  • BIO

I was introduced to piano and music theory at 13.

Music started as a passion of collecting Early Electronic, DnB, Jungle, IDM, and Post Punk music when I was 15 and up. I have a background in Commercial Photography from 1992-1998. 1992-1994, I went to the Art Institute of Seattle and soon after worked as a printer and freelanced as a photographer. At the Art Institute pf Seattle, I was exposed to the future of technologies. 1996-1998 I worked as a fulltime printer, support, and in studio photography. I started audio and video production from 1997-2003, attending Henry Cogswell College. My background in Photography and Graphics was an easy transition.

Simultaneously during my tenure at Henry Cogswell, I worked as a Photoshop /image technician and help support while going to school from 2001-2004.  I helped in student projects taking on the role of Director of Photography and Post Production duties.

I was introduced to audio / music production since 1998 in College. Originally the main priority in college was Imaging, Graphics, Video and Audio (1997-2003). I bought my first Electric guitar about 2000. More exploration in sequencing and audio production was more independent and experimental in 2001, both with Software and Hardware. Hardware didn't come until 2005. I bought my first Synth / Workstation 2005 (beginner). Production became a whole lot easier. I explored more hardware and software from 2005- present. I found that there were limitations with the first Synth / Workstation. I bought a second Synth (analogue) 2006.

I upgraded to the bigger and badder Workstation / Synth in 2008. About 2008, I dove more into production, editing, Mixing and Mastering techniques more so in 2010- present. The whole process is experimental, jamming, and sketching out stuff. Graphic Design, Logos, Photography and Imaging by Polygonal_.

After a bout with contract jobs and being laid off I started Vapre in 2007, my first project, which lasted to 2012. I found the direction was not the way I wanted to go. My friends had a huge role in encouraging me to start publishing my music after years of experimenting.

2012, I started Polygonal and have been growing ever since. I have tracks and video posted at SoundCloud and YouTube.
